We Provide Services To The Uninsured
As a Community Health Center, we participate with the state's Health Safety Net (HSN). The Health Safety Net pays for some health services provided by acute care hospitals or community health centers for certain low income, uninsured and underinsured patients. It is not insurance and cannot be used at tax time to show you were covered by health insurance.
Learn more about Massachusetts HSN for patients here: MORE HSN INFORMATION
If you are currently uninsured or receive insurance coverage through MassHealth or the Massachusetts Health Connector, we have certified Insurance Navigators that can help you with your applications, eligibility renewal, and answer related questions you may have!
For no-cost assistance with your MassHealth or other Health Connector plan, please give a call and ask to be connected with one of our Insurance Navigators! Phone: 413-325-8500
Access with Inability to Pay
As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). No one will be denied access to services due to an inability to pay. Discounts are available for all services based on your income and family size. Federal and State funding allows us to offer services through a Sliding Fee Discount Program.
To learn more about CHCFC's Sliding Fee Discount Program and eligibility requirements, please click our digital brochure below or inquire about this program at your next Health Center Visit!
Those Needing Assistance with Medicare
Medicare eligible individuals should contact their nearest SHINE counselor for no-cost assistance. Shine counselors work with participants to help explore Medicare plan options and uncover ways to save money on both health insurance and prescription drug costs. CHCFC does not have a SHINE counselor.
Locate your nearest SHINE counselor here: SHINE Directory
